WPSP has sponsored courses of study for a limited period of
time and currently offers a number of seminars ranging from a group formed
to focus on the work of an invited speaker in preparation for that event to
groups which last for years and shift focus over time. Any member can
offer a course or can form a seminar group through WPSP and invite other
interested members to join. Under the auspices of WPSP, members of a
seminar group or those who enroll in a WPSP sponsored course can earn
continuing education credits for participation.
Guidelines for Seminar Formation:
Members are invited to meet with colleagues, to learn
together, and to earn continuing education credits.
Once a month meetings are the norm although some groups meet
more often.
All group members must be members of WPSP.
It is the group leader's responsibility to register the study
group with the Educational Programs Coordinator.
In order for an individual to receive continuing education
credits, a record of attendance must be submitted to the Educational
Programs Coordinator.
Anyone interested in forming a Study Group or who has a
suggestion for a topic is invited to contact our Seminar Group Coordinator,
Dr. Carolyn Cole at psych463doc@msn.com.
